Hi all. Every morning, one of my hens shows a darkened piece of her comb. By the afternoon, the comb is back to normal. I’ve talked to several vets and I either hear she’ll be dead in 24 hours due to heart/internal organ failure, or as long as she is acting normal, it’ll be fine. I have to agree with the latter, as it’s been over a month and she still eats/drinks/lays normally with no signs of diarrhea. I’m more curious than anything. Is it a sign of a long term illness, or is it a normal thing I’ve just never seen?? Pic of her this morning. The back of her comb will be back to bright red by this afternoon

I've found that the blue/people color has to do with temp.
I seen it while giving one of my hens a bath and the water got to cool.
