Darling little Banty Cochin! But, must be 5-6 months old now, and still no crow or egg...

I am new to these little puff-balls! I have a little red Cochin hen, and a bitsy white frizzle cochin rooster. This microscopic specimen looks like something midway between them,
, gender-wise. Also, because of the color, it is hard to get a clear picture! Any thoughts from Cochin fans out there?

    Thanks in advance!

Bantam cochins can take a bit longer before starting to lay 6-9 months, most around 7-8 months. She's a pretty little girl.

Oh, fabulous! Do you think it is a girl? That is fantastic! We have waaaay too many roosters! She :) is just such a plucky little thing, that I was afraid she would have to be male. She will run up to me, as though wanting my attention, then, when I reach to pet her, she puffs up indignantly, and pecks me! But she doesn't then run off... she loiters, waiting, apparently, for another offense! If I pick her up, however, she is a real cuddler. I am glad these ridiculous little birds have joined my flock!

Thank you so much for your help!

Definitely a hen, a rooster would have a large comb at that age.

Here's two of my roosters at about 4 months of age for comparison.
