    Hi,

Today is day 17 incubation on 20 shipped coturnix eggs and there seems to be no activity. Should I be worried yet?

    All of the above.

If this is your first attempt at hatching coturnix or your 100th then I have to say that pips are very hard to see on those eggs.
Keep the bator in lockdown, and get some sleep.

Shouldn't I hear peeping once they break through the air sack though?

Quote:They seem to just come out. So far I have never heard peeping from any of the quail eggs.

You should be getting 10-12+ more shortly. If the eggs were good and the bator was right.

I hope you got some sleep, because it may be a long night for you now.
    Congratulations on the first chick!
