Day 18 Lockdown

Discussion in 'Incubating & Hatching Eggs' started by Robert McGaughey, Aug 5, 2011.

  1. [IMG] Tomorrow is my lockdown date (day 18). My question is, do I increase the humidity? It is around 45 to 48. I've read on here and in books that it should be risen between 60 - 70. My homemade bator has a fan.

Yes, add humidity. YOu dont' want those babies sticking to the inside of the shell.

Add a container or 3 of water with a few sponges in them. Try to get the humidity up above 70 if you can.

    GL!
