When I get home tonight I will transfer all the remaining developed eggs to the hatcher.
My Ebay eggs were very worrysome as my stupid substitute carrier held them for a week before I knew they were here. [IMG]

Out of 12 eggs I have 8 still in the bator only have 1 marked as iffy.

I think only a couple of the eggs I got from Mike didn't develop (don't have all my notes here at work)

I haven't hatched since June so I am excited to see these little fluff balls . I will have nothing to do Wed after work so keeping myself from hovering over the hatcher will be crazy. Tonight and tomorrow after work I will be headed down to the Fair, taking 9 Chickens tonight and the show is tomorrow so going back to see how the kids did.

UPDATE: I came home after dropping the "kids" off for the Fair Show, looks like 3 of the eggs in the hatcher were doing some rocking around. Still no pips this morning but hoping by tomorrow they will start. Most of my chickens are Black or some shade of a darker color, I need these Red Cochins and Favorelles to hatch so I can get more color in my coops.....

The waiting game is a killer huh? I have eggs going in the hatcher tonight.
Good luck on the fair. What types of chickens are you showing?

    I hate waiting!!!!!!

I am taking 3 Buff Orps, A Silver Phoenix , A Bantam BBR Phoenix, Bantam White Cochin
Mottled Houdan, Silver Lakenvelder Pair. I am hoping to sell everyone except the Cochin, Bantam phoenix and the Houdan (got 12 eggs coming trying to grow him a girlfriend or two)

I am hoping I at least end up with a nice pair of Red Cochins out of these Ebay eggs.
The ones from Mike are mostly Favorelles, a Mille Fleur Bantam Cochin (please be a girl) and a Bantam Favorelle.
My poor Bantam Cochin Cockerel , Uno, needs a buddy or two. He and the Phoenix are together, both are boys but they are really getting along well, at least right now.
