Ok, so this is my first hatch ever, so I’ve been obsessively reading threads and making everything up as I go along. I have one slightly larger egg that I thought might be a double yolker with twins? I was fairly confident last week, but after candleing today, I really can’t tell. I know they usually don’t survive full term, but I still have lots of movement and it’s day 21. Can anyone tell me how I might know if there are two in there this late in the game? I just want to prepare myself for hatch day and don’t want to get my hopes up. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Sorry I can"t help because I don't know anything about ducks. But, that is very exciting. If they are twins, please post pictures. Thanks

If you can take a picture while candling, we might be able to help. But normally what appears to be twins is actually a head and a butt. The way they curl in the egg will often look like twins.

:cafI was always curious if fertilized double yolked eggs can produce twins...?

So I was unable to get a good photo of the candleing, but when I did I could see 2 humps on the top (large end) and seemingly 2 smaller humps on the bottom as well as some free space when candling the small end.

I go into lock down tomorrow, so any tips are appreciated!
