It is day 24 today. What should I do? Should I candle on to see? I need to add water anyways. How long should I wait? Would really suck if I lost them all.

Day 1 to present my GQF thermometer read 99.5 with at most a .5 change. The humidity on day 18 and still is 64ish. I put a digital thermometer with a probe in on about day 10 and the 2 thermometers never read the same. Right now it reads 94.6 inside a water wiggler. I figured I would trust the GQF, now I am feeling I might have trusted the wrong thermometer. I did the ice slush test and the GQF read 32 and the digital read 32.5. The GQF has a water wiggler and reads 99.5.

    Thanks for the help.

If your temps went up or down at all or were on the lower side the hatch might be delayed !!! What was the hum day 1-18 ?? I would give them another day. Dont open the bator just yet !! When you uped the hum on day 18 after that did you leave the bator closed ??

Fogot to ask, what type of bator is it ?? Still or forced ??

I don't think the 40 range is too terribly high. I am Day 21 with very little hope.
Can we start a no-hatch support group next week?

40-50% is just fine for regular incubation. That is actually a bit on the dry side. I would have went by the temp of the wiggler. It simulates the temp inside of the egg.

Have you candled yet to see if there is any movement?

I candled on day 19 and had 9 with confirmed movement and 4 with suspected. Kind of sucks because my Cuckoo Marans has séance stopped lying.

Oh well guess I will hold off selling my Rooster tell I get another batch.

It is day 25 today I think I am going to open the bator and candle them now. I will write with results.
