It's day 4 for the red star/rhode island red mix chicken eggs! [IMG] They have been in the incubator since the day they were laid, and they seem to be in good condition. It's still unknown if they are fertile yet, but I am guessing they are, since the rooster always mates with the two hens that laid the eggs. There are two eggs in the bator right now. Temp is 97-101 degrees F.
I even thought of names! [IMG]

    Egg #1: Anna(female) OR Andrew(male)

    Egg#2: Peggy(female) OR Pedro(male)

Good names? I think so! LOL
Wish me luck when I candle them in about 3 or 4 days to see if fertile! [IMG]

p.s. The homemade incubator is doing great! [IMG]

anyone have any advise for this:
I don't have a humidifier in the bator, but i can tell hum. is high, since I put the water bowl in and there is evaporation on the sides of the bator. Is this ok?
