Hi. I am writing because I am on day 8 of incubation (white bantams silkies) and I found what appears to be a blood ring. The odd part to me is the embryo is still really active and it looks like a quarter size blood spot on the inside. So my question is. Is this a blood ring I am seeing and if so can the peep still make it??? Any advice I will highly appreciate being I am newer at this. Thanks so much! [IMG][IMG]

That is not a blood ring, that is normal veining. You have a live embryo in there!

Thank you so much!It just looked so odd to me and out off all my eggs it's the only one that looks that way. Thanks again.
