Day old chick has spurs?

Hello,
I’m new to raising backyard chickens and I understand that sexing silkies has been discussed but I can’t find anything on the issue I have.

Today I picked up 2 chicks, both silkies and a day old. One of them has what looks like a little spur, it has a nail and all, this is in addition to the 5 toes.

does this mean it’s a rooster? It it possible for them to show so early?
I’ve attached photos but they aren’t very good

no that is not where a spur would grow. That looks like a mutated foot to me.
