dd had her coloscopy today

she has a spot on her cervix. she will have another coloscopy in 4 months and after the baby is born she will have a byopsy

I hope everything turns out OK, its tough when they can't do anything for it right now because she is pregnant. I've had cervical cancer and my daughter has had pre-cancerous cells. Its very treatable.

it is scary because we have so many different types of cancer in our family. cervicle cancer is one. my aunt who is 42 has been having precancer cells froze off for 13 years. she has to have it done at least once a year

The one thing about cervical cancer is that almost 90% of it is caused by HPV which the docs know how to treat and as long as it is caught early it can be ok.I had to have a few surgeries for it but all is well.
