So one of my bantam Cochins wouldn’t get up and when i went to get her she couldn’t walk very well. I noticed a kind of roll over to the sore side each time she tried. Three days later she died. I separated her and gave her her own food and water but she only got worse not better. No idea what it could be. Other than maybe she was hurt by a bigger chicken...?

It really could have been anything. I am so sorry for your loss. If anyone else falls ill, act quickly, as there will likely be a common denominator like coccidiosis, moldy feed, a toxin, or something else.

Where are you located? Almost sounds like botulism. Could she have eaten any moldy feed?

I am a bit curious, you mention she would roll over on the "sore side"? Did she have some type of injury, how do you know it was sore?
