I knowtist one of my hens not coming out of the coop a couple of days ago. We picked her up put her down and she ran around so I figured she was fine. This morning while I was feeding noticed she was standing beside the food sleeping. Thought it was weird. When I got home from work she was dead in the coop! What's going on :(

The only thing I noticed is that she was standing with her eyes closed and wouldn't come out of the coop like the others. I looked around for bloody poop. None was found. Checked her out, all seemed normal.

She's around 12-14 weeks old. Been feeding them medicated food and veggies, bread. There medicated food did get a little wet, could it be that? Not mouldy!

At that age, she probably had Coccidiosis or Marek's Disease--but I couldn't pinpoint the disease without in depth symptoms, which is hard to get with chickens.

My husband notice that the coop was damp. Would that have to do with it? We cleaned it out and it's nice and dry now, but I'm worried about my other chickens.

I don't know, I would clean it out ASAP.
