Dead Mice

The last few days I've caught about a dozen mice in a spring loaded mouse trap (the kind that kills them). Somehow they're getting into the pantry at night. I have been flushing them down the toilet, but couldn't I just feed them to my chickens? We don't us any poisions, but I don't know what any neighbors may use; although I do live in the mountains not a city or town.

I feed my snap trapped mice to the chickens. I don't worry about possible poisons where I live, mice don't travel that far.
