Dead Moose in our pasture,,,WARNING GRAPHIC PICTURE!!!!!!

    I went out to the pasture today and found a dead moose, it's left ear had been torn off and it's innards were strewn about the body. What kind of creature would do this? Are our horses safe? Am I safe? And exactly how did a moose get in our pasture, in Va?

    I have a Beagle who has been known to inflict that kind of damage to assorted other animals such as bears, pigs and once he even gutted a fire hydrant! [​IMG]
