I have a 3 month old Silkie who has a crooked beak. He’s always had it but the top part seems to be making it harder now for him to eat. My friend, who hatched him, used a dremmel before I brought him home to keep top and bottom even but I’m wondering if there’s something else I could do for him. He’s just a sweetheart so I want him comfortable and able to eat well. FFAE332A-F693-4360-957D-F236E04AF8B2.jpeg 189425DB-F723-4957-B003-0038E8C73614.jpeg

Offer him a deeper dish and provide wet mash so he can scoop the feed.
Trimming/filing as needed as the previous owner did is likely a good idea as well. Have them show you how they did it.

What are your plans for him? Just wondering - I wouldn't use him for breeding, but looks like he sure will make a sweet pet!🙂
