Deformed rubbery egg?

i just found this out in my laying box. It’s the same color as the other eggs but feels like rubber. We don’t have roosters so it’s not fertilized. I’ve seen weird eggs but nothing like this. All my girls look healthy and they were all eating when I went out there. One has not started laying yet again since winter so mayb this came from her? I’m not sure. Any insight?

That appears to be a lash egg, which usually isn’t a good thing to see.
It’s made up of a waxy like substance of congealed/hardened pus.

You’re right. That’s exactly what it looks like. Problem is, I don’t who laid it.
