I am wanting to make some flock blocks and wanting to make them as healthy as possible, I am. Wanting to dehydrate some fruits and veggies but what would be some good ones that would be easy for the chickens to eat?

Start with what's in season because that would be cheapest. That's pumpkins and squash in our area. I don't dehydrate them but I scoop out the seeds, dry them and grind them. I freeze the chunks of pumpkin in a big garbage bag. When I feed the frozen chunks, I sprinkle them with the ground seed (chicken feed when I run out) and the chickens just peck away.
