What do you all usually feed your Delawares from Chick to Hen/Rooster? I have changed recently from feeding layer feed to my hens and rooster that maybe with them to Purina Flock raiser putting a handful of oyster shells and some crushed egg shells in their feed. Plus oyster shells in a separate dish left all the time out there. I have some that won't eat the oyster shells unless it is in their food. I usually use a 18% protein chick starter from Agway. I never have growth issues with that ever. However this Flock raiser said is is for Chick to adult. Since I am new to Delawares what do you use and have success with please?

You don’t really do anything different, hens are hens, roosters are rooster.Switching to all flock is a good idea because your rooster shouldn’t be on layer feed, everything else your doing sounds fine, regardless of the breed.I usually feed my chicks all flock feed or medicated, but all flock means what it says All Flock, meaning all birds.

Thank you for the information!
