Delaware Sexing?

This morning our beloved Chicky Minaj, an 8-9 week old Delaware made a few loud shouts that kinda sounded like a rooster!

Any experts out there that can tell if we need to rename him to Chickolas Cage?

The redness of the comb leads me to believe she may be a he, but I’m new to this stuff. Any help is appreciated.

Yep! A cockerel. That comb and wattles size and colour for that age is a dead give away.

He's guy a lot more smutt in his hackles than a pullet would at that age in addition to the red in the comb and wattles.
