I rescued two white hens. Thought they were Delaware's. I gave one to my neighbor and I kept one. A week ago her started laying the biggest brown speckled eggs you've ever seen. Mine just started laying today. Posting two pictures one of two eggs pointy white one on the right is my polish hen's egg the one on the left is what the supposed Delaware laid today. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. I really thought I was right on the breed

She laid the small egg. The second day she laid a big egg. All the while doing it in her new pen in the laying box. Then today she laid a small egg again right out on the ground. And also it seems that her vent is continuously pulsating. Is that normal? I have an Americana and a Polish and neither one do that. Granted she is a lot bigger. At first I thought she was egg bound. Do you happen to know what's going on?
