He is not a phoenix, wrong comb and color isn't quite sdw. It looks like a variation of sdw. He does have a butter cup comb. I believe he is a butter cup mix

Thanks for the reply, yeah I was skeptical of him being a phoenix but it seemed the closest breed I had found. He definetly has a very odd looking comb ;)

Well that comb isn't as wide as I thought. So it isn't butter cup. I have an Easter egger mix here that had that same exact comb before it got frostbite.

I would say you have a pretty mixed breed rooster. He doesn't match any descriptions directly and nothing jumps out at me about him other than the variation of a pea comb.

The eyes are super cool though! Don't think I've ever seen 2 different colored eyes before. I have one with one yellow leg and one white leg, that's pretty neat.

That is really neat! I love odd color mutations, makes them extra special

The different colored eyes can sometimes be an indicator that he had Merak's at some point.

Oh no really? Is that a bad thing, like can he still be contagious or is he immune to it now? He seems very healthy but I dont know anything about his past history, or even how old he is
