You have two females.
nice quail i am hoping to get some soon good luck with them
Quote:How exactly do you tell?
The first is a silver red breasted hen and the second is a normal red breasted hen. Identification is on my website and I know because I know But the males will have red vent feathers or if a silver red breast male, he would have a pink breast. Second photo, if a male would be blue with a bib and a red breast extended up to chest. There is a black face red breast as well which would have a black head if male.
Quote:I KNEW that they werent all fricken males in that cage he had when I seen that egg in there!! I just looked at your website and realised that the silver red breasted's mate was still there in the cage cause I origanally wanted him an her but the guy kept him!! That makes me sad now... maybe I can get a REAL male out of him too! He said when I messaged him the night we brought them home that he only had 2 females..
