Would a female duck mount and try to mate with another female? I have a female that is doing this. I know that she is a female because I have seen her walking and an egg drop out of her. So, she does lay eggs. If they do this, why?

Edited to say that I found my answer.

Quote:Sorry about that. After I posted my question, I did a search, which is what I should have initially done but didn't think about it........and I found the answer to my question. There was tons of information. I know how we are not suppose to double post the same info that is already out there, so I was trying not to send everyone to my post.

    Sorry again.
