Hi, my name is James Arthur, I've had friends with chickens for years, and I've wanted some for just as long(if not longer), and I've finally got a few of my own. We incubated 15 POTENTIAL LY fertilized eggs from my friends who keep chickens. Amazingly, 5 out of the 15 hatched(5 out of 10 of the ones specifically from their farm). So now I'm busy keeping the little peepers busy while I finish renovating the old rabbit coop into a chicken coop (mainly predator-proofing the dang thing!)

Hi James Arthur and welcome to BYC.

You may wish to post any questions that you may have in terms of your coop in the "coop and runs" forum, and I'd suggest reading up on the "Predators and pests" forum also.

You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre
https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center, and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

This link may help you for the moment.
