Recently about four weeks ago I got some new baby chicks. They are all starting to get a comb growing slowly but this one seems to have a strange dent in hers. She's a silver laced wyandotte so is it normal for them to have this? Should I worry about it or is it just the way she's growing? [IMG]

It's called an inverted spike. It's a flaw in exhibition birds but if she's just a backyard bird it isn't a concern.

That's interesting I've never had that happen before. Thank you for the answer!
