I'm pretty sure it is the yolk peritonitis. As far as I know, only a vet or avian vet will give those, since they are hormone injections or implants. I have read that they are expensive, but can last 4-6 months. Does you hen have egg yolk peritonitis or salpingitis?
Did you ever get the implant?Hello,
Does anyone here know where this hormone implant can be purchased in Canada? Can it be purchased without a vet. Where we are, a vet visit alone, prior to examination and testing, is over $230!
Thanks in advance.
