Hello everyone! I AM desperate for some Maran pullets!!
About 25% of my 2 dozen 10/11 wek old multi variety flock are not looking like hens and I plan to adopt out anyone who doesn't lay! This leaves me with considerably less layers than I planned on and I am in love with the idea of the beautiful Maran eggs.
All of my existing birds are of friendly type breeds, very much part of our family and I have a beautiful hen house and huge run to accomodate more girls than I am going to end up with.
I am in a rural setting outside of Portland, Oregon if anyone in my area has any suggestions, or if anyone anywhere knows where I can find some Marans...
Thanks for any help!!
Susan
