    Welcome to BYC!

I have them, but I'm about 45 minutes south of San Jose.

I would check ponds and canal's if your really desperate. I also live in california and people constantly dump them. I just saw a lavender, a choclate, Black and a pied at a pond near my house. I brought one home because it seemed someone had just dropped there and it was a young one. And it isn't the first time it's happened.

so again sometimes you should check the enviernment and rescue these feral ducks before someone or something kill's them. Infact I might start a little duck rescue with a friend, for the dumped pet ducks and give them to those better fit to care for them.
