Deworming chickens

Hi! So I notice one of my chickens has worms…. Gross. I have no idea what type of wormer to use. I’m leaning toward safeguard but is it really true I have to discard eggs? Seems like such a waste of eggs and incredibly disappointing since eggs are so expensive right now. I’m not selling eggs just trying to provide for my family.
