Do I dose 3 days in a row with a pea size paste of Safeguard and repeat in 10 days? Can I eat the eggs while treating or can I feed them back to the hens?! I’m desling with round worms in my flock of 4.

Photos?

Fenbendazole is dose by weight.

For Roundworms Only, Fenbendazole (Safeguard) dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days.

To treat other worms including Roundworms, but not Tapeworms then give the Safeguard at the same dose for 5 days in a row, no repeat.

Egg withdrawal period is 14 days after the last treatment.

Not a pea size. That is not correct and if you do not use enough of the med it is the same as not deworming at all.

It is very safe to round up to .25ml per pound to make the math slightly easier.

Measure out 1 whole ml...what's your need for a small 4 pound bird next to a pea size amount so you can see the difference.
