DHs birthday - need cake decorating help - cat design??

It's my DH birthday on Saturday and I just found out that my in-laws will be coming to visit too, so this b-day cake has got to be goooodddd - and home made!! My husband is cat-crazy so I think a cat birthday cake would be good, a little whimsy is ok!!

Ideas please, I'm not so good at this kind of thing, I'm a great baker, but the decoration is not so much me. I've searched the net and not found anything I really like, do any of you have pictures, suggestions, recipes etc?

Lol yeah, the litter box cake is really good actually, although it looks so real it's almost hard to eat lol. Actually, the only things I could think of that could beat the nastyness of a litter box cake would be an OSU or a Longhorn cake.

Make sure if you do the litterbox cake you use an actual little litter box, and use a litter scoop as the spatula, it's just not the same without those.
