Ok everyone here has had this bad bug going around. Yesterday evening I got a high fever, I woke up not really sniffling or sounding congested but I feel congested in my chest. Still have fever, my back and chest is on fire when I try to take a deep breath( which I cannot do) or cough. My back and chest are staying sore but it does get worse if I try to cough. My legs are killing me. Its like they are just shaky and weak. This came on very sudden. Again we have all been sick from some kind of viral thing. Its either stomach or congestion. Since everyone had it over the course of 3 weeks this is my 3rd bout with it. ( I am the one who stays up all night, holding them and being coughed on) This third time I just hurt hurt and more hurt. So what you think the dr will say.

My vote is she will say I have a little virus and my gall bladder needs to go. ( even after ct's which show no gallstones she is addicted to that answer)

PLEASE don't panic, don't go reading a bunch about this and freak...

    but YOU

    MUST

    TELL

    YOUR Dr.

    YOU

    HAVE

    CHICKENS.

There's an infectious bug that can cause respiratory illness that they won't look for if you don't. Histoplasmosis.

On Sunday evenings I am happy to share my imaginary doctor skills.

I vote for a viral infection of some nature. Do mention chickens. But
not related to removing your gall blader, unless we're playing Operation.

To speed the process, I asked my wife for a second opinion. She agreed
with me. (She always agrees with me, which is why we're still married.)

Now if you'll just PM me your address, I'll send you my doctor'ing bill.

Of course, your best bet is to go to a real doctor. But not one who wants to
remove your gall bladder over a cold or flu.

Dr. Spook (not to be confused with my cousin, Dr. Spock)

Ok Spook that last one was so funny it hurt. So hard laughing and coughing at the same time. Thanks for the chuckle.

    Flu, possibly compounded with asthma.

I have been ill much of the time since early October. When I finally went to the doctor after having been ill for 6 weeks (with a two day break), she put me on a super antibiotic (I've never seen any medicine with as many warnings). It did help me get past the worst of it, but I am on my third round of a bad cold since then. And each time it kicks in my asthma.

    Good luck!
