I have 6 bbw turkeys that are 8 weeks old. They are growing well, at about 9 lb. They have an inside area that is 8x4, enclosed with a gravel floor but we put fresh, dry shavings every 4 or 5 days. There is a 65 watt bulb on at night. A door is closed at night. They also have an outside area that is a mesh that elevates them 3 or 4 inches above the ground. This area is 8x6. They always have clean water and they are on medicated grower pellets from Shurgain. I have chickens, they are separate from the turkeys (atleast 20 feet away) I always take care of the turkeys food and water before the chickens to reduce risk of blackhead but sometimes, throughout the day, there is a chance that I say... gather eggs and then tend to the turkeys water.
All turkeys are doing well except for 1. Yesterday it was very hot, everyone was panting, had red faces, except 1 was not panting and his face was pale. He was hunched up and has diarrhea. Not foamy yellow, but clear water with some brown solid. This morning the others ran outside when I opened the door. He advanced slowly, still has diarrhea, seems listless. He is still grooming himself and eating and drinking. I am not positive, but I don't think he is the only one with diarrhea.
    Help would be appreciated!
