Diarrhea

Need a little help/advice. I fed my 5 week old chicks some cantaloupe earlier this week. Now they all have a slight case of diarrhea. Could it be the melon or should I be worried about illness?

Diarrhea is usually caused by eating wet food like yogurt or pasta. Diarrhea is also a symptom of many diseases, if their are any other symptoms, she could be sick. if you want to be sure she is safe, give her some poultry tonic/sulphurdim. this cures diarrhea if it is caused by sickness.

Thanks for the input. I think the problem was too much melon. They seem much better today. They showed no other symptoms of any kind of illness, but I will keep a close eye on them.
