I have nine 5-6 week old chicks that were moved to a coop today. Is it safe to sprinkle the D/E in the coop when they are this young? Their little lungs seem so small I was afraid to use it just yet. But if it's not a problem, I would like to spread it around, perhaps not heavily though. Anyone with keen insight or knowledge?[IMG]

No problems as far as I know. I put it down in the brooder before I put day-old chicks in it and have never had any issues.
