[IMG] He was part of a weekly TV routine in so many households for so long. I first started watching him on AB when I was a tiny tyke in the 60's.

American Bandstand and Soul Train...both changed so much. It is strange that the guys died so close together, timewise.

[IMG] My big sister always watched American Bandstand! Its funny, cos my 15y/o daughter just asked me who he was. When she heard the song from AB, she said "I know that song".

Yep, isn't that something! Every generation can somehow relate to AB.

Both of my sisters were already older teenagers when I was tiny, but AB was something that bridged the gap -- at least while it was on, lol. Lots of good memories.
