Am I going to have to rename Athena...Apollo? The one on the left has a much more developed comb than the other Dominique from the same batch. What does everyone think?

Not familiar to Dominique, but they are similar to BRs so I think I would say you have a handsome Apollo.

Judging by their feathers, yes. What do the legs look like?

Um, what am I looking for on their legs? I don't see spurs yet, if that's what you mean, but they're only 5 weeks old. Would spurs be showing yet?

Based on the comb I would say Athena is Apollo. I agree with checking the legs. If it has much thicker legs then that's a yes too!

My alpha girl had a much larger comb than her sister from the same mother. but yes -- check the legs -- roos also stand more erect, with longer legs usually.

Cock a doodle doo... on the left.

Males in Doms and BRs always have lighter colored feathering.

    At 5 weeks? Definitely Apollo.
