First time chicken owner and am really hoping that I have all pullets. I think I do but wanted some confirmation.

2 RIR around 4 weeks old. I think the buff orpington is 5 weeks old.

I'm inclined to say they're all girls... but I've been known to be wrong before! [IMG]

With such fuzzy heads, I'm inclined to say the two rir's are closer to 3 weeks old. They all look girly now, but especially BO's can be slower to mature than production strains. I wouldn't hedge my bets till they are 5-6 weeks old.

Cool, thanks for the info. Will be watching them carefully [IMG] By the way, I've had the RIR's for about 3.5 weeks now - picked them up from the feed store so I guess they are a little slow to develop.
