Did I just poison a chicken with Allercaine?

I'm reading about using medicine with lydocaine in it...after I just used it on a wound on a 13 week old chicken.

Did I just poison her? Is it too late to do anything? Bath?

The bottle of Allercaine, I just noticed, is expired...in 2007, so maybe it isn't active anyway.

Help!

Allercaine is used for anti itching for hot spots on dogs, your hen will be just fine with no reaction to this medication
