You may have just saved yourself a lot of money in disease maintenance, as well- besides the fact that it doesn't sound as though he'd have been very nice to the birds.

If he offered to trade in his original add and then wouldn't make good, he feels he can take advantage of the situation. You're better off to order what you want, new, when it's on sale. I got those items cheaper on sale at Orscheln's than what he said he'd paid, including the rusty one.

hahaha since i can go to meyers hatchery and buy them at 16 or 18 weeks for $12 a bird i dont think you can sell the 4 for over $100 since the big feeder was 29.98 the big waterer was 29.98 the little feeders were $21.99

and when i can buy the same age chickens down the road for $6 each

if your interested in these feeders and waterers then bring $35 cash and there yours

not trying to be a d*** just saying your over pricing them if they were younger i would give you more for them but there old and im sure they dont lay an egg a day still

I had thought about the disease issue. I wasn't sure if I would want to risk used waterers/feeders anyway.

I almost almost emailed him back to ask him what happened to the birds who used those feeders.

I would never use a prev owned feeder. Even if it was cleaned with bleach or novasan I would always think what if some disease happened to my birds. Your birds are worth more if you ask me than those feeders.
