did you know red broilers grow slower than white rock?
Well I did my batch of Cornish cross.... perfect. Will never do anything else but I was expermenting with other types just in case. I did purchase the "red broiler" a cross of rhode island and cornish.. they are so sloooowww to grow. But I also got a batch of white rocks (for crossing with cornish) They are BIGGER FASTER than the red broiler. I will have to wait until 12/16 weeks to get any meat!
I will just buy the white cornish cross next time, and if its too hot I will just keep breeding the white rock the roosters get to 9 1/2 lbs FAST! (but the cornish rock broiler is my favorite!)
