Difference between dusting powders?

Some of you recommend Sevin Dust but I have not seen diatomaceous earth (food grade) recommended. Is there a reason? Use one more liberal than the other?

DE doesnt work fast enough to get rid of external parasites. It's also more expensive than a canister of sevin dust.

"Natural" doesnt mean it's safe. DE's effect can be dangerous to air breathing animals/humans. This is why it's recommended a mask be worn.
