Sassy Silkies is just a trade name, for that particular person's silkie flock. Most folk who are in the business of breeding and raising chickens will give their "farm" a name. Oftentimes it is named after a specific breed they specialize in. And especially when someone is known for nice looking birds, that name carries a lot of weight. But they are still silkies.

Personally, i've been trying to come up with a cute name for my little farm. Not that i'm doing any business, just raising some chickens and thought it would be fun to have a name. [IMG]
