Hello everyone! I have a 13 week old Rhode Island Red rooster and Silkie rooster. The Silkie is really starting to grow his Spurs and I've noticed that out of the blue he will go after my rir roo and grab him by his hackle feathers and won't let go. My rir will end up dragging him around the run until my Silkie lets go. And what's weird is that the Silkie will do this out of nowhere. What I'm thinking is that my silkies hormones have kicked in and he's already starting to dominate the rir roo but obviously size will prevail. When should I expect my rir roo to start fighting back? So far he's very submissive and will even walk around him now. And my Silkie roo is smaller then two other silkies that I don't know their gender yet, but that's beside the point. On top of this I have a 11 week old black australorp in there with him. I know his hormones are also right around the corner. Do you guys think I should separate all of them? Or do you think they will work it out? Also do you think they will fight each other to the death? Please let me know what you guys think!
