I Am New At This So I Need A Little Help. I Have 5 Baby Chickens 6 To 7 Weeks Old. They Are Now Out Side In Their Own Chicken House. They Seem To Be Doing Fine. We Bought 10 More Baby Chicks Yesterday About 2 Weeks Old. We Have Them Inside For Now. We Have A Heat Lamp On Them So They Are Plenty Warm.

Do You Keep Food In Their Box So They Can Continue To Eat All The Time?

And When It Is Time For Them To Go Into The Pen With The Older Chickens Will They Play Nice With The Younger Ones?

I have a 3 week old Silver Laced Wyandotte in with 3 larger 6 week old hens - they don't seem to mind her; she likes to get under them or snuggle next to them. I was going to separate her if they started to peck at her - so far so good.
