So....I'm a newbie at raising chicks. I got six Isa brown hens first, then my mom and I decided to get guineas. And then we also got seven australorp chicks. The day after bringing the australorps home, I noticed that one of the chicks was bigger, and had less white than the rest. And it also has feathered feet. Now, after about a week, Fuzzy-Feet (the chick) is nearly twice as big as everyone else, and has sprouted brown and black feathers along its wings, and also has a fairly large comb (in my opinion, I think Fuzzy-Feet is a rooster, but I'm not sure, LOL). We're thinking it could be a cochin, since it has lightly feathered feet, and is ridiculously friendly. What do any of you more expirienced chicken owners say?

Do you have a picture? Cochins usually have the most fuzz on their feet compared to other feathered breeds. They are also a very large and heavy breasted breed in general. Without a picture, that would be my first guess. Second might be a brahma....

This is Fuzzy-Feet
