Well, I have a bunch of bread that has a bit of mold on it. Is there any reason why I couldnt feed this to my birds? I have rye and potato and sour dough. It was given to me for my chickens and I figureed I would ask before I threw it in there. Thanks

I read somewhere on here, "Never feed your chickens what you yourself wouldn't eat."

I give my girls stale bread, but not moldy

I don't feed moldy food. It isn't worth the risk to save 50 cents on feed and make a bird sick.

Put it into the compost bin.

My birds get a little bit of bread, but I store it in the freezer so it won't mold or spoil.
