Different submissive behavior in hen other than squatting?

[K-12 Chickens]

One of my ISA Brown hens has been doing a weird submissive behavior other than squatting. She'll crouch down and shuffle around when I walk near her but when I reach out to touch her, she runs away which is totally different from what the squatting I usually see. Any ideas?

Yup. Sometimes the do a bowed head and shuffle backward too.

That's interesting. She's the only who does and only recently has started doing it. Even though I'm a girl chicken keeper, they still see me as the rooster. I wonder if she's doing something different to become the "rooster's favorite"?
