    My political leanings aside veggie gardens are good and they aren't dem or repub. I didn't read the whole article but I'd like to know who is gonna water it?

    Great article! Already put it on my facebook page.

    Eating out three times a week, ordering a pizza, having a sandwich for dinner took it’s toll.

    Arg... even the NYT can't get punctuation correct. [​IMG]

    That is great!

    However, I'm jealous that they can get a group of kids to come help them prepare the garden. Wonder if I can round up some willing victims to work in my garden! [​IMG]

    Isn't that the coolest thing ever??? And they're even going to compost their own waste to fertilize! I just love it.

    the Obamas’ garden will have 55 varieties of vegetables...

    Total cost for the seeds, mulch, etc., is $200.


    Not too shabby, for all those veggies.
